New Site Roundup

Posted on: May 2017

Piranha Solutions is a full digital marketing agency serving a diverse range of clients. One advantage of working with different industries is that the work is so varied: two projects are never the same!

May has been a very busy month for everyone at Piranha. With so many people and companies using our marketing services, it gives us a great opportunity to showcase our design and development of brand new client websites.

Our developers build several new websites every month, and we’ve recently been working across different platforms including WordPress and Magento. Some projects are more challenging than others and we always work together to get the job done!

Whether it’s refreshing an existing site or a completely new design, we simply love developing engaging and intuitive websites. Our passion stays the same both for multi-brand ecommerce companies and for a smaller site which might be a client’s first foray into online marketing.

Below, we’re delighted to show off just a few of our recent websites. Ranging from insurance brokers to sexual health services, these sites illustrate just how experienced we are in working with different companies. We’re proud of our work and we hope you find it as interesting as we do!

Recent Piranha projects:

Craftcover.com

Client Overview:
CraftCover provides bespoke insurance policies for the UK’s craft industry.

The Brief:
Full website redesign using existing branding. The company’s previous website was on WordPress and they requested that the new site remain on that platform.

The Outcome:
Our graphic design and web development teams worked in tandem to create a visually stunning site complete with information and contact sections for the convenience of visitors. The branding allowed for a varied colour scheme with a craft-y, homemade feel. The site can also provide insurance quotes through the use of third-party software.

Benchmaster.uk

Client Overview:
Benchmaster is a supplier of modular work benches and trollies for the UK market.

The Brief:
A rebrand was required by the client with a contemporary website to match. The new ecommerce site was to be built with a full integration of WordPress and Magento in order to best utilise the strengths of each platform.

The Outcome:
Piranha’s graphic designers created a fresh, exciting new look for the site complete with monochrome background imagery which was key for brand consistency. The integration of Magento and WordPress allows for a dynamic visitor experience where benches can be constructed using drop-downs which affect price and imagery.

Best2Know.co.uk

Client Overview:
Best2Know is a free service providing STI tests, contraception and sexual health advice for 15 to 24-year-olds in the North West.

The Brief:
The client wanted a new, fully responsive site that would look great across all devices. Whereas their old site was managed purely via FTP, CMS (Content Management System) integration was desired for simpler site editing.

The Outcome:
Piranha produced a fully responsive site with exceptional load times. This was especially important for the client as the majority of the old site’s visitors were mobile users. We also integrated the WordPress CMS to make editing the site’s content and images much easier. With Piranha’s help, Best2Know can continue offering valuable support to young people across the region.

Client Overview:
Armstrongs is a long-established quarrying company with 5 sites across the North West.

The Brief:
The client requested a modern and exciting website complete with product details, testimonials and news sections.

The Outcome:
The Piranha team utilised its video capture and editing experience to create a dynamic, looped video background for the new site’s homepage. An overhaul of other design elements has resulted in an engaging website that brings the company’s online presence right up to date.
