Piranha 10 years of Design, Advertising and Marketing in Lancashire

Posted on: August 2011

It’s hard to believe, but Piranha Advertising & Marketing Solution is now ten years old. Piranha Advertising & Marketing was formed on the 4th of July 2001 by Directors Paul Airey, Don Fryer and Peter Bamber with the aim of creating the leading Lancashire full service adverting and marketing agency, an aim that we believe that after consulting our clients is now true.

The directors had gained over 40 years combined adverting, design and marketing expertise working for other agencies across the UK, including agencies in London and Manchester before taking the bold step of launching their own marketing and communications agency, Piranha Advertising & Marketing, here in Lancashire.

Piranha Advertising & Marketing grew very quickly and unlike many start up businesses became profitable very quickly, returning a profit after only 3 months of trading which set the foundations for growth, investment and sustainability.

Highlights of the first 10 years in business include winning a pitch against 37 other agencies for a mayor account, winning the award for Outstanding New Business in 2003, working with the likes of Golden Wonder, Campaign for Wool, the NHS and Veolia and creating a dynamic and happy team of industry professionals that is delivering an enviable level of quality work today.

In these 10 years, Piranha Advertising & Marketing and Piranha Internet Limited have turned over close to £8 million, completed over 5,000 individual marketing projects and worked with close to 100 clients, many of which have been with the company throughout this period. Whilst the marketing landscape has changed and budget levels have generally fallen since 2008, Piranha Advertising & Marketing still aims to provide all elements of the marketing mix that an organisation should embrace, all under one roof and is determined to still be at the front in another 10 years time.
