Piranha auctioned website raises £950

Piranha provided a bespoke professional website as an auction prize at the recent Race Night charity event organised by Peter Jackson Jewellers. The event raised a total of £4,765 for The Space Centre with the website prize attracting a fantastic final bid of £950. With the other donations including a further £4,500 donated by Peter Jackson, a total of £10,655 was raised.
SPACE can cater for people with a wide range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Profound Multiple Disabilities, and Autism and brain injuries. Groups come from all over the north west and sometimes even further afield. The SPACE Centre offers a totally flexible environment for families, carers, therapists and teachers.
The winner of the website Auction was a company called the ComMen which is an established local business providing telecommunications equipment and installations.
Jenny Jackson, Visual Image Manager at Peter Jackson Jewellers said “I just wanted to let you know that our Race Night last Friday evening was a huge success and we raised upwards of £4,500 for the Space Centre!!! The auctioned website sold for £950. We were absolutely delighted with this. The man with the winning bid has installed and maintained our telecommunication systems in our stores for the last 10 years”.
