Piranha social marketing campaign, “Best 2 Know” the “most memorable” campaign in Lancashire

A recent focus group carried out on the behalf of the NHS in Lancashire has identified the Best 2 Know marketing campaign, designed, developed and executed by Preston’s Piranha advertising and Marketing as the most memorable social marketing campaign in the region.
The focus group was carried out at Preston’s Rock FM studios and took place to get an understanding of awareness of social marketing issues in the target audience of 16-24 year olds living in Preston and surrounding areas in Lancashire. Focus group members were asked to identify brands they liked remembered and respected that dealt with delicate social issues affecting their age group and all focus group members agreed that the best to know campaign was the best they had seen. The group also praised the best to know website, which was designed and programmed by Piranha, as being an excellent example of clear messages relating to a sensitive issues. They also made of point of saying that the website understood their age group, did not talk down to them and contained very useful information. They also stated it was well designed, clear to navigate and was very appealing.
The Best 2 Know campaign was designed and developed by Piranha to cover the sensitive issue of sexually transmitted diseases and focused more specifically on Chlamydia. The campaign consisted of developing a memorable brand, website design and development, on-line competitions, market research, search engine optimisation and search engine marketing, leaflet production, poster production, radio advertising on Rock FM, washroom advertising, bus advertising, bus shelter advertising, 48 sheet poster advertising, the production of promotional beer mats, promotional gifts and promotional give-a-ways, in club competitions all supported by field promotional teams operating in the Preston and Lancashire area.
