Piranha Supply Chain Policy
Introduction and Objectives
An effective and efficient supply chain is crucial to the success of Piranha Advertising and Marketing solutions Limited’s business.
We ensure that everyone understands the value and commercial benefit that can be delivered by a well-managed supply chain and with so many specialist and diverse suppliers making up the complete marketing solution provided by Piranha; the company ensures that only directors of Piranha oversee the management of the supply chain and recruitment of suppliers.
Piranha is guided by a set of principles from which we make our policy statements.
Policy Statement
- To focus on the needs of Piranha, the supplier and clients to ensure that all parties benefit from the business relationship.
- To build supply chain “relationships” through fair business pratice.
- To ensure that the quality provided by all suppliers is to the quality levels expected by Piranha and the clients of Piranha
- To focus business on UK based suppliers, and where possible, suppliers within 35 miles of Preston.
- For environmental reasons, to attempt to resist the economical pressures on outsourcing to India, China and other far eastern destinations except in situations where the client of Piranha leaves no other option available.
- To ensure that all suppliers are managed by Piranha and all services are delivered to Piranha first for quality checks
- To be fair to suppliers by limiting the number of suppliers to a maximum of 3 within any market to ensure each supplier receives a large % of the business available from Piranha. This is of particular importance in building relationships
- To show loyalty to suppliers as a reward for excellence.
- To not use suppliers who Piranha believe use “unethical practices” of any description
- To treat suppliers as we would expect to be treated ourselves
- To pay all suppliers at the end of the following month that invoices are received.
